About us

With the takeover of W.S. Tyler, the parent company of Hewitt-Robins, in 1999 the Columbia, SC facility was closed. On the closing of the Columbia plant many long time experienced employees were laid-off. Four of these employees, with well over 100 years of combined Hewitt-Robins experience, started a dealership handling several lines of aggregate associated equipment. Shortly after beginning operation, Hewitt Robins International Ltd., in England, contacted them and asked if they would like to handle the US business as they had many inquiries for Hewitt-Robins parts from users in the US.

Three of the original four who had started the dealership in 2000, accepted the challenge and formed a new company named HR International Crushing and Screening Inc. in 2001. The purpose was to offer support of the many Hewitt-Robins screens, feeders and crushers in operation around the US with their vast knowledge and experience of Hewitt-Robins equipment. We now offer a complete line of vibrating equipment and stock a large inventory of parts to support the Hewitt-Robins equipment.
